About Conference

This hybrid event aims to bring together Afghan and international scholars, and policymakers to engage with Afghanistan’s evolving crises and support its scholarly and professional communities.
To promote inclusivity and interdisciplinary engagement, we have chosen not to announce a specific theme for this year’s conference. This decision allows scholars across a wide range of disciplines—including law, political science, economics, sociology, anthropology, history, education, and public policy—to submit and present their research freely, encouraging a rich and diverse exchange of ideas. You may submit an individual abstract or you may propose a panel.​

Abstract Submission

     Submission: Submit your abstract and bio in the google form below

     Language: English, Persian, and Pashto.
     Topics: Any Social Sciences and Humanities topics related to Afghanistan and the region.

     Deadline: June 15, 2025, 11:59pm EDT.
     Word Limit: Between 250 and 300 words for abstracts; Between 100 and 300 for your
