English for Beginners:
This course is offered to English language learners who have limited or no formal knowledge about the English language. The focus of this course will be on developing your listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities. Therefore, throughout this course, students will acquire the basic literacy in English language and have the basic understanding of the English grammar, important vocabulary, and conversational skills.
Intermediate English:
This course is offered to English language learners who have basic knowledge of the English Language but still needs to refine their command on the English language. Therefore, this course will build upon their foundational language competencies by focusing on advancing communication, reading, writing and listen skills in academic, social and professional setting. By the end of this course students would be able to express their opinions fluently through speaking and writing using their English skills. Plus, they will be able to comprehended academic readings.

This course will focus on further applying your critical thinking and writing skills to various texts. During the term you will do so by composing written work based on questions that will arise from your engagements with a variety of poems and short essays. My hope is that you will emerge from this class as confident, polished writers, able to successfully argue your opinions by expertly backing them up with logical, incisive analysis.
Introduction to TOEFL
This course is designed for Afghan girls aiming to develop their English reading and writing skills in preparation for the TOEFL exam. It offers an in-depth exploration of the types of reading passages and writing tasks encountered in the TOEFL test, with a special focus on academic English.

نگارش حقوقی
مضمون نگارش حقوقی یکی از مضامین مهم و کاربردی در رشته قضایی- حارنوالی به حساب می آید. این مضمون طی چهار کریدیت در سمستر ششم و هفتم برای صنوف سوم و چهارم قضایی تدریس میگردد. این دورۀ آموزشی محصلین را با اساسات تفکر انتقادی، ساختار ماده ها، استدلال حقوقی، تحلیل حقوقی، و نویسندگی مؤثر معرفی میسازد.محصلین با تمرینات داخل صنف و کارخانگی فراوانی مواجه خواهند شد که جهت انکشاف و پرورش مهارت های عملی حقوقی ایشان بدقت طرح گردیده اند. درین میان، محصلین مهارت های روش تفکر انتقادی، تجزیۀ ماده به اجزای متشکلۀ آن، انجام دهی استدلال حقوقی، انجام دهی تحلیل حقوقی و نویسندگی مؤثر را فرا خواهند گرفت.در این دورۀ آموزشی بر علاوه لکچر از روش مباحثات و تمرین های آموزش فعال استفاده میشوند تا مهارت های نویسندگی حقوقی محصلان را در عمل تقویت نماید.
International Criminal Law
The first part of the course is focused on the general concepts of classic international criminal law. This part will include the introduction, sources and objectives of international criminal law. The second part of the course is focused on the international tribunals that have been established for prosecution of international criminals. This discussion primarily would include the ICTY, ICTR and ICC. Discussion of situation of Afghanistan before the international criminal court is an integral part of this course.

حقوق مالکیت های معنوی در طی یک سمستر تدریس ومضمون حتمی و تخصصی می باشدـ مجموعاً محتویات این مضمون در شش فصل و در هر فصل عناوین کوچک ازسه الی چهار عنوان جا داده شده در ختم تدریس هر فصل کار خانگی برای دانش آموز تخصیص داده می شود . از آن جائیکه این مضمون در رشته قضایی تدریس می شود داشتن مجله رسمی که در قانون مالکینت های معنوی افغانستان به چاپ رسیده یک امر حتمی است و شرح مواد قانون مذکور با رهنمایی استاد توسط دانش آموزان در جریان سمستر به قسم کار خانگی داده می شود. کنوانسیون های و قاعده های بین المللی را نیز محصلین باید بیاموزند به رهنمایی استاد در ضمن کار های خانگی ، انجام خواهند داد. حل اختلافات ناشی از کاپی رایت در سطح ملی و بین المللی و نمونه کیس ها توسط استاد ارائه شده و دانش آموزان به شیوه های حل اختلاف دعاوی ناشی از نقض حقوق معنوی و کاپی راتجربه می کنند.
Transnational Criminal Law
In our globalized world, crimes crossing borders violate multiple state laws. This course introduces students to transnational criminal law—an emerging area of international law governing cross-border criminal activities. It covers various topics, including transnational crimes like human trafficking, corruption, terrorism, and forms of international legal cooperation such as extradition and mutual legal assistance.
Legal Decision-Making And Entrepreneurship
Social entrepreneurship is the process and responsibility of recognizing and resourcefully pursuing opportunities to create innovative responses to address social problems and to create social value. Social entrepreneurs assume the responsibility to be change agents towards solutions that support people, protect the environment, and produce profits. This course will cover social entrepreneurship strategies and basic engineering concepts emphasizing Human-Centered Design through the lens of legal decision-making.
Mock Debates/Trails
This program is a preparatory class on moot courts. The course will equip students with legal research and advocacy and introduce students to international moot competitions in national and international levels. The course is designed to enhance law students’ advocacy skills and assist students with research and writing legal memoranda. Students will be required to work on a fictional case, represent plaintiff or respondent, draft defense statements and more.

Advocacy & Civic Engagement
It is a ten-week program consisting of ten interactive sessions where participants will be trained with advocacy strategies and means and will be engaged in practical advocacy throughout the program. Participants will receive mentoring support outside the sessions and constructive feedback to enhance their advocacy skills efficiently. The program is designed for Afghans residing in Afghanistan and the diaspora outside Afghanistan who are interested in advocacy but require training and support to contribute to the cause effectively.

Being emotionally grounded provides a foundation for everything that we do. During this five-week course, students will learn how to manage anxiety and thrive. A three-part system focusing on ways to release negative emotions, relax, and regenerate will be taught. Classes will include an understanding of the underlying mechanisms of stress as well as experiential exercises.

Research Excellence Lab
Research Excellence Lab: This hands-on Research Lab immerses interns in the dynamic world of academic research. As a junior collaborator alongside academics and established researchers, interns gain invaluable first-hand experience in various research stages, from research design to data collection and data analysis as well as publication. The module equips interns with practical skills, theoretical knowledge, and critical thinking necessary to navigate the exciting terrain of scientific discovery. It provides a platform for interns to work and learn from professors and researchers enhancing their professional career and chances for employability.
Note: students who had taken ALPA classes previously and particularly those who completed research method classes will be prioritized.
