About the event
Description
This panel explores the opportunities and challenges of hybrid education models that connect Afghan learners with faculty and peers at the American University. Panelists will discuss how hybrid classes, blending in-person and online participation, create inclusive spaces for students restricted by geography, and political barriers. The session will highlight innovative practices for delivering high-quality education, building academic communities across borders, and ensuring accessibility for marginalized learners. By bringing together educators and students with diverse experiences, the panel aims to spark dialogue on how hybrid models can reshape higher education in Afghanistan and similar contexts, fostering resilience, equity, and global engagement.
