We are delighted to congratulate Fariwar Abed on her recent graduation with a Master of Business Administration, a milestone achieved through her deep intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and steadfast commitment to personal and professional advancement.

Fariwar’s academic journey has been shaped by immense challenges. Growing up during a time of deepening crisis in Afghanistan, she faced limited opportunities and increasing barriers to education, especially for women. Yet with forceful will and an unwavering belief in the power of progress, she charted her own path, determined to pursue excellence against all odds.

During her MBA program, Fariwar excelled academically, contributed to a wide range of projects, and remained actively engaged in her learning community. She participated in the Financial Management Association and the Startup Surge entrepreneurship initiative, where she worked to turn creative ideas into practical ventures. She also served as a student assistant in the School of Business Dean’s Office, gaining valuable professional experience while contributing to the academic environment.

In addition to her academic and professional accomplishments, Fariwar has played a vital role in advancing the mission of the Afghanistan Law and Political Science Association (ALPA). As Communications Officer, she has been instrumental in strengthening ALPA’s outreach and visibility, fostering connections among its members, and supporting its growth as a platform for Afghan scholars and students in exile. Her dedication to communication, coordination, and community building has left a lasting impact on ALPA’s expanding network.

Fariwar’s success is not only a testament to her academic abilities but also to her strength, vision, and perseverance. Her story embodies what it means to take charge of one’s future and lead with purpose.
