ALPA College is pleased to welcome Hafiz Qambari as the new Senior Moot Court Manager. Hafiz brings with him not only strong experience in moot court, but also a deep and proven commitment to the growth of Jessup and legal advocacy among Afghan students.

Hafiz is a former Jessuper from Al Bironi University, where he led his team twice to the final rounds of the National Jessup Competition in Afghanistan and winning best memorial awards. That achievement alone speaks to his talent, discipline, and leadership. But what makes his appointment especially meaningful is that his commitment to moot court did not end with his own student experience. In the years since, he has remained actively invested in helping Afghan Jessup teams grow and succeed.
He has contributed to this effort by offering workshops to Jessup teams, sharing his experience with new generations of competitors, and serving as a judge in moot court competitions. Through these roles, he has helped strengthen not only individual teams but also the broader culture of legal writing, oral advocacy, and international law training among Afghan students. At a time when serious legal education faces many obstacles, this kind of continuity, mentorship, and service matters greatly.
We are therefore very happy to have Hafiz join ALPA College in this important role. We believe his experience as a competitor, mentor, and judge will make him a valuable leader for our moot court efforts and an important source of guidance for our students.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. W. Ba. and Mr. F. Ha. for their leadership of ALPA’s Jessup Department in previous years. Their work helped sustain and develop this important program, and we are grateful for the time, care, and dedication they gave to it. They will continue to work with our Jessup program in various capacities.
We warmly welcome Hafiz Qambari to this position and look forward to the energy, experience, and vision he will bring to ALPA College’s moot court program. We are confident that his leadership will help further strengthen Afghan students’ engagement with Jessup and other forms of legal advocacy in the years ahead.
